Randy Stoneman of Morgantown, Indiana recently celebrated his storied 20-year Red Gold sales career, where he held the position of Regional Retail Sales Manager for our Retail Sales Brands. Randy’s wife, Annette, coworkers, and friends attended his recent retirement celebration at Tomato Country Way in Elwood, Indiana on June 21, 2019.

“I’m a lucky guy”, said Stoneman who spoke to his fondness of the family ownership and their stewardship to treat their hardworking employees just like family.  “I had the pleasure to work for two great companies in my entire work career which included Colgate-Palmolive and Red Gold. WOW! I cannot tell you how enjoyable it was to have that special time with the Red Gold family last Thursday!   The love I received during the party was a great way to end my career with Red Gold and it will forever be cherished by both me and my wife.”

“It has truly been an honor and pleasure to have spent the last 20 years of my work life with Red Gold! I will miss Red Gold and the many great people working there, but I am excited to venture on into retirement mode and enjoy the many plans Annette and I have.  I am sure you will see and hear from me when I’m checking stores all over the world for our products and participating in events like the annual Run to Crush Hunger and Chili Cook-Off each October in Elwood. Red Gold Forever,” boasted Stoneman!

Stoneman is a 1981 graduate of Indiana University where he lettered in cross-country and track.  He began his career at Red Gold in 1999 in trade marketing and then advanced into retail sales.  In retirement, he plans to be an active traveler of our beautiful county in his fifth wheel camper along with his hobby of home-brewing beer.  President and CEO Brian Reichart presented Randy with a few retirement gifts and he and several employees spoke to the passion and enthusiasm that Randy had his entire career.  “Randy was a true ambassador of the Red Gold brand, and we know he will continue to represent us well with his passion and pride in his retirement travels”, said Tim Ingle, Senior Vice President.
