ELWOOD, Ind. (October 12, 2016) - Red Gold, producer of the world’s freshest, best tasting tomato products, opened their newest facility. Mayor Todd Jones from the City of Elwood was on hand today with officials from Red Gold to commemorate the official grand opening of the new Red Gold Health & Wellness Center powered by Activate Healthcare at 1500 South B Street in Elwood. This new health and wellness center will provide significantly greater benefits for Red Gold employees and their family members. Selected benefits of the new health clinic includes primary health care services, including sick visits, care for chronic illnesses, free medications, prescribed by the clinic providers (available at the center), free lab tests, and health and nutrition education.
In addition to the new location in Elwood, there are 19 other Activate Health clinic locations in the State of Indiana including Anderson, Muncie, Westfield, and Fort Wayne that Red Gold employees can access at no charge. An additional clinic will be opening in early 2017 near Red Gold’s Geneva, IN production facility. “Red Gold’s family ownership has always had our employee’s health and wellness as a priority, and we are thrilled to offer this new and innovative medical benefit offering to our employees.
